About Us
Nestled beside the Captain Cook nature reserve off Bridge Street, Leaps & Bounds Parklands is one of Toowoomba’s oldest child care centres. Established in 1978, our centre of early learning is now providing second generation families with high-quality homely care. We embrace a combination of modern early learning concepts from both Australia and Finland, the world’s number one education system. These Nordic values align with our wonderfully relaxed natural setting. Our open-plan indoor layout, large beautiful garden with play areas and our magical expanse of lawn, all celebrate nature and the world around us. Our spaces enable learning to be happening all the time by encouraging playtime and inviting children to be curious in nature.
We provide early learning experiences for children from 15 months to 5 years with play spaces equipped to appropriately meet the needs of all children. Natural colours and materials create a calming atmosphere, and our various design principles fashion the perfect aesthetics to enable better learning.
We are a family-owned centre with inspirational educators which allows us to provide attention to detail and address the needs of every family and child. We thrive on building these supportive and collaborative relationships with parents to support the development of their children as they embark on their journey of life.
