Tadpoles
from 15 months
nurture, comfort, discover
As our toddler Tadpoles begin their journey at Leaps & Bounds, we see curiosity, new words, and development of a sense of balance and body control. Before long they share new emotions and words as they develop ‘pretend’ play and engage in social interactions with other Tadpoles, and the educators.
Learning is everywhere and all the time. Our learning spaces encourage these busy little people on a path of discovery as they develop self confidence and social awareness. Our program offers a variety of stimulating activities, small group interactions, quiet time, free-play and independent exploration:
motor skill activities which are designed by our own Exercise Physiologist develop strength and coordination,
building with blocks and manipulative experiences develop coordination, dexterity and fine motor skills,
sensory exploration of our natural environment helps unearth their world, and
language and music time provides an introduction to reading, singing, rhythm and movement for cognitive development.
At Leaps & Bounds, our Tadpole educators recognize the importance of building strong relationships with families in the best interest of the children as raising children requires teamwork. Sharing ongoing information about the different developmental phases and aspects of care, like feeding, sleep and rest, and taking care of themselves, enables educators and families to bring high quality learning to our littlest children every day.
